Project included demolition of old and replacement of new Synagogue and Rabbi’s cottage. Synagogue consisted of a basement with ground, 1st floor and roof constructed in a steel frame structure. Externally it was built of traditional brick with the roof compromising of both zinc and clay roof tiles, Curtain walling encased the front of the building at both ground and 1st Floor. A garden roof terrace overlooked the brick paved courtyard which was surrounded in black metal railing with both electric pedestrian and vehicle gates.
The Rabbi’s cottage which was adjoined to the Synagogue consisted of a kitchen/dining area, living room and 5 bedrooms, 1 of which had an ensuite with a further 2 bathrooms at both ground and 1st floor.
